Who built this
Hi, I’m Hans-Jürgen Herbst — a WordPress freelancer based in northern Germany, working through Tidenhub Digital GmbH. For more than a decade, I’ve been building WordPress sites for clients: small businesses, coaches, agencies, and non-profits.
Every project started with the same wiring: heroes, features, testimonials, pricing, FAQs, CTAs. So I started building my dream toolkit — the one I wished existed every time I opened a fresh WordPress install. GutenBlock is that toolkit, refined and released so other people can ship the same way.
GutenBlock is not against freelancers — it is also for freelancers like me. The base work in most projects is eerily similar, and that base work eats client budgets fast. GutenBlock takes the repetitive plumbing off your plate, so the budget — and your day — can go into the things that actually move the needle: a custom integration, a stronger funnel, a clever interaction. The kind of work that is more fun to build and much more valuable for the client.

How GutenBlock works
The output is always standard Gutenberg blocks. No proprietary frontend, no custom shortcodes – when you uninstall the plugin, your pages stay exactly where they are.
Two pieces work together: the design tool where the AI does the heavy lifting, and a free WordPress plugin (GutenBlock Pro) that gives your native WordPress editor (Gutenberg/FSE) the section library and the import button. You stay in control of your hosting and your content – we never run your site for you.

You describe the project
Two or three sentences are enough. Who is the site for, what should it achieve, what tone of voice fits. No briefing template, no questionnaire – just plain language.

AI drafts the structure and copy
GutenBlock picks suitable sections from a curated library, writes headlines, subheadings and body copy in your tone, and generates fitting images. Everything shows up in a live preview.

You polish in the editor
Edit any text, swap any image, change colours and tonality. The preview is a real Gutenberg editor – nothing you cannot fix with a click.

Export to your WordPress
One click installs the GutenBlock Pro plugin on your site and pushes the pages over. Standard Gutenberg blocks – your content stays even if you uninstall the plugin tomorrow.
